Tito Ben's culinary journey began in Ireland in August 2001 when he joined the kitchen at Park House Hotel in Galway City.
Over the years, he honed his skills, working at notable establishments like the G Hotel in Wellpark and serving as a chef for 15 years at the Franciscan Friars in Galway City, particularly at The Abbey Church.
Tito Ben also sought further culinary education, attending courses in Italian cooking in Dublin and a cookery school under the guidance of JP McMahon in Galway City.
His commitment to culinary excellence led him to Atlantic Technological University (ATU) in Galway City, where he dedicated a year to study Culinary Skills, including a work placement at Raheen Woods Hotel in Athenry.
In 2012, Tito Ben ventured into food catering, specializing in Filipino cuisine for special events. In 2021, he took his passion for food to the next level by launching his food truck business. His first trading market was in Maam Cross, Connemara, Moycullen market and Cross Co. Mayo.
Currently, the family, which includes Ben, Pebe, Chloe, and Bj, collectively runs the business. They pride themselves on serving a diverse array of delectable Irish and Filipino dishes. From Gourmet Burgers and Spring Rolls (Lumpia) to Fried Chicken, Noodles, and Rice Porridge, they offer a fusion of flavours that cater to a wide range of tastes.
Today, their food truck operates in Eyre Square, Galway City beside the Galway Advertiser serving up delicious dishes five days a week. They are committed to sharing their love for food and delivering mouth-watering culinary experiences to their patrons.
